Check out the AONIJIE backpack π
Are you looking for a cheap, ultralight backpack? Iβve found this AONIJIE backpack on AliExpress to take a look at. Itβs lightweight, cheap and made decent materials.
The design looks interesting too with loads of cool features, so let’s take it out for a day hike and see how it performs!
As always drop any questions or comments below and I’ll get back to you.
Cheers!

Will you be doing a halloween camp π
@Daley Outdoors Iβm doing a camp in haunted woods π€ͺ

Are the mystery loops to secure the top of your trekking poles?
Iβm not sure. If they were the bottom of the pile would be sticking out in front rather than behind π€·ββοΈ
i think those loops are for a chest, map? thats if there was 2 of them?
Ah maybe. Yes there was one on each side.
Great video Ben. According to my running mates the loops are so that you can carry/ store ‘running poles’ across your chest (horizontally).π
Ah ok. Now I need to Google what running pole is π€£
@Daley Outdoors surely itβs a walking pole, but faster?ππ€£
@Bowlin01 soooo why have βtrekking poleβ holders as well π€£
@Daley Outdoors perhaps they arenβt trekking pole holders. Perhaps (as seen in running videos) some runners use them for routing their drinking bladder tubes?
Love the channel. Have you made a video on how your plan for your wild camps?
Not yet π Thanks for watching V π
Hi bro. If you’re curious, u tube is reccomending your video to random people based on interests. Which is why I’m here, and glad it did. good stuff
Ah good to know! Thanks for watching and welcome aboard! Ben π€
2 years on and still going strong hey Ben π. I do like your local walks & Kit Reviews. Bag looks good, with plenty of storage. Does it come in any other colours ?
Cheers Justin! Thanks for watching as always mate π it comes in green as well π
i wanna hug your doggo βΊοΈ labs are the best
Yes they are. But sheβs not a lab π
in todays episode .. Ben struggles to open gates ( i don’t care that he’s doing it one-handed , while holding doggie lead & camera in the other hand ) .. lol
I did my best π€£
and congrats on 2 years .. onwards & upwards
Decent looking bag, with plenty of options on the straps for all your kit. That loop you took off, was it the top half of the trekking pole fixing?
Cheers Jason π Iβm not sure. I think if they are, due to where the loops were when your poles were in theyβd be sticking out in front of you. Probably useful for clearing a path in front of you when running though π
Looks like an alright pack that Mr D π
Love your sense of humour, Ben. And great reviews. How long does stuff usually take to get here from Aliexpress and does it always arrive?
Thanks π€Everything Iβve ordered has arrived. Items take between 2 and 12 weeks! Itβs a marketplace with lots of sellers on there so just be sore to check feedback and ratings before you order π
Another good review, thanks. Congrats on you two years on YouTube.
Thanks Emma π€
Hi there mate. Can you check out the husky fighter 3-4 tent and tell me what your thoughts are on it. I just bought one but its not for hiking its just for me and my nephew to get out and about in. Very little on the internet about it… thankyou for your vids they are quite entertaining.. Ben π
Hi mate. I donβt fancy carrying a 4.8kg tent around TBHβ¦ Ben
@Daley Outdoors yeah is a bit heavy but its mainly for fall and winter camping. And in the plus side i dont have to carry it far. Off out camping in it tonight mate so hoping its good lol
Cool backpack
Β£50 is not a particularly cheap backpack. Decathlon have better for cheaper, in my opinion.
It is vs other βultralightβ ones of a similar design, but yea if youβre just looking for a backpack there are loads of cheaper options available.
I particularly like the pockets on the shoulder straps, which is very rare even expensive backpacks
What’s your go-to day bag? π€
My Osprey Hikelite 18 has served me well for a couple of years. Usual Osprey quality which gives me one less thing to worry about π
Looks a decent pack that mate. Not sure what those little bits are for??? π€
Itβs better than I expected to be fair. Still no idea what theyβre for but at least I can say Iβve modded it already π
@Daley Outdoors π€£π€£π€£
I thought the straps were for trekking poles. Great to those camps planned.
Came for the pack review, stayed for the doggy gear-sniffies. β€οΈ
4:40 for routing hydration bag hose easier to your mouth?
Ah yes maybe π
Just like the dog I wonder where you kept your lunch in this bag. Apart from that, ventilation of your back is the most important feature of a modern backpack for prolonged hikes. It would be on top of my list so this bag is a no for me. But it seems a nice choice for short distance travelling.
delightful walk
No compartment for bladder? Thanks
Yes it has. I said so in the video.
Hi. Alli express says it can’t be shipped to UK. Looks like a great bag tho.
If you search for the name (aonijie) there a few sellers shipping it here. Or follow the link in the video description π
@Daley Outdoors thanks I’ll try that.
Great review as norm Ben, that’s a bag I’d definitely consider, loving all the little add ons on it, hope you and yours are all well mate ππ
Cheers Mick! All good mate. Hope youβre well π
