    1. I’m not sure. If they were the bottom of the pile would be sticking out in front rather than behind πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

  1. Great video Ben. According to my running mates the loops are so that you can carry/ store ‘running poles’ across your chest (horizontally).πŸ‘

    1. @Daley Outdoors perhaps they aren’t trekking pole holders. Perhaps (as seen in running videos) some runners use them for routing their drinking bladder tubes?

  2. Hi bro. If you’re curious, u tube is reccomending your video to random people based on interests. Which is why I’m here, and glad it did. good stuff

  3. 2 years on and still going strong hey Ben πŸ˜€. I do like your local walks & Kit Reviews. Bag looks good, with plenty of storage. Does it come in any other colours ?

    1. Cheers Justin! Thanks for watching as always mate πŸ‘ it comes in green as well 😎

  4. in todays episode .. Ben struggles to open gates ( i don’t care that he’s doing it one-handed , while holding doggie lead & camera in the other hand ) .. lol

  5. Decent looking bag, with plenty of options on the straps for all your kit. That loop you took off, was it the top half of the trekking pole fixing?

    1. Cheers Jason πŸ‘ I’m not sure. I think if they are, due to where the loops were when your poles were in they’d be sticking out in front of you. Probably useful for clearing a path in front of you when running though πŸ˜†

  6. Love your sense of humour, Ben. And great reviews. How long does stuff usually take to get here from Aliexpress and does it always arrive?

    1. Thanks πŸ€“Everything I’ve ordered has arrived. Items take between 2 and 12 weeks! It’s a marketplace with lots of sellers on there so just be sore to check feedback and ratings before you order πŸ‘

  7. Hi there mate. Can you check out the husky fighter 3-4 tent and tell me what your thoughts are on it. I just bought one but its not for hiking its just for me and my nephew to get out and about in. Very little on the internet about it… thankyou for your vids they are quite entertaining.. Ben πŸ™‚

    1. @Daley Outdoors yeah is a bit heavy but its mainly for fall and winter camping. And in the plus side i dont have to carry it far. Off out camping in it tonight mate so hoping its good lol

    1. It is vs other β€˜ultralight’ ones of a similar design, but yea if you’re just looking for a backpack there are loads of cheaper options available.

    2. I particularly like the pockets on the shoulder straps, which is very rare even expensive backpacks

    1. My Osprey Hikelite 18 has served me well for a couple of years. Usual Osprey quality which gives me one less thing to worry about πŸ‘

    1. It’s better than I expected to be fair. Still no idea what they’re for but at least I can say I’ve modded it already πŸ˜†

  8. Just like the dog I wonder where you kept your lunch in this bag. Apart from that, ventilation of your back is the most important feature of a modern backpack for prolonged hikes. It would be on top of my list so this bag is a no for me. But it seems a nice choice for short distance travelling.

    1. If you search for the name (aonijie) there a few sellers shipping it here. Or follow the link in the video description πŸ‘

  9. Great review as norm Ben, that’s a bag I’d definitely consider, loving all the little add ons on it, hope you and yours are all well mate πŸ‘πŸ‘
